Treaty United Football Club is an Irish association football club based in Limerick. The club was founded in 2020 in the place of Limerick F.C. following their financial collapse, and began playing in the League of Ireland in 2021. They play their home matches at Markets Field, the same ground as their predecessors. Following the liquidation of Limerick F.C., the idea of a new team in Limerick arose. Kerry Football Club (Irish: Cumann Peile Chiarraí) is an Irish association football club based in Tralee, County Kerry. They play their home matches at Mounthawk Park. The club will compete in the League of Ireland First Division, starting in the 2023 season, with an inaugural fixture against Cobh Ramblers.
The League of Ireland First Division (Irish: Céad Roinn Sraith na hÉireann), also known as the SSE Airtricity League First Division, is the second level division in both the League of Ireland and the Republic of Ireland football league system. The division was formed in 1985. It replaced the League of Ireland B Division as the League of Ireland's second level division. Since 2003 the First Division has operated as a summer league.
