[p]Harambee Stars went into the away game seeking victory but forward [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/guirassy-serhou/YXRCmup6/"]Serhou Guirassy[/a] had other ideas as he scored what turned out to be the winner for [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/guinea/lGDZlkOb/"]Guinea[/a] in the 32nd minute.[/p][p]Kenya coach Benni McCarthy made two changes to the squad which faced [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/eritrea/ns8a5zLl/"]Eritrea[/a] in the 1-1 draw, with midfielder Mohamed Bajaber starting alongside [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/omondi-ben-stanley/bV2s67gK/"]Ben-Stanley Omondi[/a].[/p][p]The game started with Guinea winning a free-kick from outside the area, but the resultant effort from Oud-Heverlee Leuven forward [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/traore-abdoul-karim/pYBFW3K8/"]Abdoul Karim Traore[/a] hit the Harambee Stars wall.[/p][p][b]In the 10th minute, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/kenya/CIAJw1QK/"]Kenya[/a] started to settle, and it was [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/obiero-micah/v76sdib3/"]Micah Obiero[/a] who had the first opportunity to score for the East African side after breaking through Guinea's rearguard but his effort was saved by Mohamed Camara.[/b][/p][h2]Guinea the better side[/h2][p]Four minutes later, Guinea threatened again, this time dangerman Serhou Guirassy watching helplessly after his superb free-kick rattled the upright side of the post for a goal-kick.[/p][p]Kenya continued to lose the ball and give away free-kicks in their own half, with Bajaber becoming the first player to go into the referee’s book. Guirassy teed up Karim Traore with a fantastic pass but the latter hit his effort wide.[/p][p][b]Guinea looked the most likely side to break the deadlock, and they did so in the 32nd minute.
