The Detroit Lions released veteran offensive lineman Graham Glasgow on Monday ahead of the start of the free agency period on March 11th.

[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/detroit-lions/boZWV3E7/"]Detroit[/a] will save $5.5 million in cap space as the move came shortly after the team traded [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/news/american-football-nfl-lions-rb-david-montgomery-traded-to-texans-for-day-3-picks-and-juice-scruggs/nVw0Cx3c/"]running back David Montgomery to the Houston Texans[/a]. [/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/glasgow-graham/CAHg9lkL/"]Glasgow[/a], 33, released a full statement on social media. He spent the first four years (2016-2019) with the Lions before eventually returning to them for three more seasons (2023-2025). [/p][p]He spent time with the [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/denver-broncos/l22ZmPbl/"]Denver Broncos[/a] (2020-2022) in between tenures with the Lions.[/p][embed guid="70c20051-4887-4cd4-a50e-b67888b9cf7f" url="https://x.com/gglasgow61/status/2028582309012885523?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]Glasgow gave up 19 quarterback pressures, eight quarterback hits, and one sack in 517 pass block snaps, while committing two penalties - tied for the fourth-fewest among centers. [/p][p]Usually a solid run blocker, Glasgow finished 2025 with the fifth-worst run blocking grade (54.3) among all centers - the worst of his career. However, his 98.0 pass-blocking efficiency was the third-highest of his career. [/p][p]He will now be one of the bigger interior offensive lineman names on the market when free agency begins.[/p]
