Brady Tkachuk traded to Florida Panthers for massive draft pick haul

The Ottawa Senators traded star player Brady Tkachuk to the Florida Panthers in exchange for three first-round picks and one second-round pick, according to multiple NHL insiders.

[p]Ottawa will be receiving Florida's No. 9 and No. 25 overall picks in this year's draft, a second-round pick in 2027, and a first-rounder in 2029. [/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/tkachuk-brady/dvZapuEC/"]Tkachuk[/a], 26, will be joining his brother Matthew on the [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/florida-panthers/fc1eq8Pp/"]Panthers[/a], who won back-to-back Stanley Cups (2024-2025). [/p][p]Brady has played all eight years of his NHL career with the Senators and is coming off a 22-goal, 37-assist season. [/p][embed guid="f6251c29-0ce4-48a2-9f31-6a2069c511f9" url="https://x.com/espn/status/2068816278530232510?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]The two USA Olympian brothers will now be on the same team as the Panthers look to rebound from a season in which they finished 40-38-4, missing the playoffs following their stellar Stanley Cup run. [/p][p]Ottawa will now be looking towards the future as they receive the massive draft pick haul for their star player. He has 101 goals and 187 assists in 242 games since joining the Panthers in 2022. [/p]
