After Arne Slot's departure, Liverpool have wasted no time in picking his replacement. Andoni Iraola, the outgoing Bournemouth boss, looks set to be appointed by the Reds as their new permanent head coach after reportedly agreeing terms.

[p]Although he managed to win the Premier League title in his very first season with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/liverpool/lId4TMwf/"]Liverpool[/a], [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/slot-arne/lnG1OUjk/"]Arne Slot[/a] couldn't survive a difficult campaign.[/p][p]No trophies in his second season, no major performance in the Champions League: after weeks of hesitation, the Reds' board finally decided to dismiss the Dutch coach over the weekend.[/p][image alt="Liverpool finished the season in fifth place" id="1983fe03-46d9-4b48-a885-1e34305aca89" credit-line="Flashscore" guid="fe780d61-7f2b-4726-bbfe-b4c8ec8d8c38" original-width="1200" original-height="1200" /][p]As soon as Slot was let go, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/iraola-andoni/xpALVpwq/"]Andoni Iraola[/a]'s name was being whispered. Whether that's enough to get them back to the top remains to be seen.[/p]
