Holger Rune to make comeback at Davis Cup after 11-month injury absence

After sustaining an Achilles tendon injury at the Stockholm Open 11 months ago, Holger Rune will make his comeback when Denmark take on Bulgaria in the Davis Cup on September 18th and 19th.

[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/rune-holger/2kRS8swG/"]Holger Rune[/a] is set to play competitive tennis again after nearly a year on the sidelines when [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/denmark/f756O8ml/"]Denmark[/a] take on [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/bulgaria/69uCxrVs/"]Bulgaria[/a] in the Davis Cup on 18/19 September.[/p][p]The Danish tennis star suffered a complete proximal rupture of his Achilles tendon during his semifinal match against Ugo Humbert at the Stockholm Open in October last year.
