The veteran signed a small one-year, $7.5 million deal with the team in the offseason, making Arizona his fourth team in four seasons.[/p][embed guid="d47169bf-b09d-4d20-bff0-83cb62383e12" url="https://x.com/MLB/status/2038825399992324605?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]There were four immaculate innings thrown last season, and there has been at least one in every year dating back to 2006 - there were none in 2005. Soroka joins Hall of Fame legend Randy Johnson (2001), Byung-Hyun Kim (2002), and Wade Miley (2012) as the only pitchers in Diamondbacks history to throw an immaculate inning.[/p][p]For those new to baseball, an immaculate inning is when a pitcher records three straight strikeouts on nine pitches (three strikes per batter). [/p][p]Arizona (0-3) are currently looking for their first win of the season and might potentially earn it with a win over the Tigers tonight as they currently lead 8-2 in their game. [/p]
