Four teams are left in the UEFA Conference League after a Thursday night filled with drama, with no side able to win both legs of their tie. Here is one stat for each team following the second legs.

[p]19 - [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/az-alkmaar/2RxOow1i/"]AZ Alkmaar[/a] were unable to do what they did in 2022/23 and reach the last four. [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/az-alkmaar-2RxOow1i/shakhtar-donetsk-4ENWX2OA/?mid=dYZxV0nC"]The Dutch side drew 2-2[/a] against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/shakhtar/4ENWX2OA/"]Shakhtar Donetsk[/a], allowing the Ukrainians to progress 5-2 over the two legs. De Kaasboeren were the last club from the Eredivisie in what was a tough year for Dutch football in continental play. AZ drew for the fourth time in 14 games against teams from Ukraine (6-4-4), with their goal tally in such clashes reaching 19.[/p][embed guid="35535ecd-6a49-4a6c-9d95-22e407148e19" url="https://x.com/Conf_League/status/2044848680851701993?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]9 - Shakhtar are back in the last four of a UEFA club competition, becoming the first team from Ukraine to get this far in the UECL. The Pitmen exact revenge for their elimination in the 2004/05 UEFA Cup round of 16, where they lost both games. Overall, they have stretched their unbeaten away streak to nine (6-3-0).[/p][p]42 - Needing to come back from three goals after their first leg defeat, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/aek/ANpZncAM/"]AEK Athens[/a] managed to do that against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/rayo-vallecano/8bcjFy6O/"]Rayo Vallecano[/a], levelling the tie by the 51st minute. However, Dikefalos could not keep out their Spanish opponents, with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/palazon-isaac/x2AuZhpr/"]Isaac Palazon[/a]'s marker at the hour mark deciding the tie. AEK [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/aek-athens-ANpZncAM/rayo-vallecano-8bcjFy6O/?mid=vFf5G1XI"]still won 3-1 on the night[/a], but fell 4-3 on aggregate. That goal they conceded was the 42nd against a LaLiga club, more than they have let in versus any other nation.[/p][embed guid="e9432182-8d2f-46a7-b1b9-5e919f7f6f94" url="https://x.com/Conf_League/status/2044885664878010575?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]4 - After falling at the quarter-final stage of the UEFA Cup at the beginning of the millennium, Rayo have managed to go (at least) one better. Rayito kept their composure, managing to win the tie nine minutes after AEK restored parity. Their award is a maiden final four showing in a UEFA club competition. Rayo's away record may want to improve though for the semis, with their loss in Greece being the fourth the club has suffered in European play.[/p][p]33 - [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/fiorentina/Q3A3IbXH/"]Fiorentina[/a]'s Conference League journey has come to an end, earlier than ever. La Viola could not overturn their 3-0 first leg loss in England against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/crystal-palace/AovF1Mia/"]Crystal Palace[/a]. While they did end up [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/crystal-palace-AovF1Mia/fiorentina-Q3A3IbXH/?mid=nTXCk4hM"]winning 2-1 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi[/a], they bow out 4-2 on aggregate. The two-time finalists will not be in Europe next term, ending a four-year stay in the UECL. During that time, they managed 33 wins, more than any other team.[/p][embed guid="18f118c3-10f3-47c5-bb1a-b3dd146dbe20" url="https://x.com/Conf_League/status/2044886929393467423?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]3 - Palace's debut season in European football could not have gone any better, with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/glasner-oliver/CznGurCt/"]Oliver Glasner[/a]'s side now qualifying for the semi-finals. [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/sarr-ismaila/ll2uTDkB/"]Ismaila Sarr[/a]'s header 17 minutes in put the Eagles in a strong position. In the end, they held off their Italian opponents despite conceding twice. They are up against Shakhtar in the last four, another former European winner. Thursday's result was the third time they have lost in the UECL this term. They also mustered three shots on target in the return leg.[/p][p]0 - The only team to overturn their first leg loss were [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/strasbourg/nP6UzIU1/"]Strasbourg[/a], who got past [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/mainz/EuakNmc1/"]Mainz[/a] [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/mainz-EuakNmc1/strasbourg-nP6UzIU1/?mid=GzdoKOGd"]4-0 on the night[/a], winning 4-2 on aggregate. Multiple trophies are potentially in play for Le Racing, who are also competing in the Coupe de France semis. Two goals in each half did the trick for them as they have qualified for a continental semi-final for the first time. In what was their third tie against a German team, Strasbourg have conceded zero goals at home in those matches.[/p][embed guid="6df99925-9e07-4b82-8fdd-cfc864a6ab25" url="https://x.com/Conf_League/status/2044883748592705846?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]17 - What a disastrous turn of events for Mainz, who had a wonderful performance at home last week. Now, they are the ones on the wrong side of a big defeat, one that ultimately knocked them out of the Conference League. Die Nullfunfer had just one attempt on target in the whole 90 minutes, which played a role in their UECL run coming to a close. Across their five European away losses all-time, they have conceded 17 times.[/p][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/soccer/europe/conference-league/"]Follow the knockout rounds of the UEFA Conference League on Flashscore.[/a][/p]
