Russian Diana Shnaider beat Ukrainian Oleksandra Oliynykova at the French Open on Saturday in a match overshadowed by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

There is no difference for me."[/p][image alt="Match stats" id="bb923515-f380-426a-bf1b-f408297250cf" credit-line="Flashscore" guid="c839bc43-930f-4931-92aa-71b46c399a98" original-width="1080" original-height="1080" /][p]Shnaider played in a team exhibition tournament held last November in St Petersburg and sponsored by Gazprom.[/p][p]"Ask Diana Shnaider how she feels about the fact that Gazprom is financing the kids' camps, kidnapping kids and putting them into the camps. Ask her how she feels about this, and how she feels about taking the money from the company like this."[/p][p]"Everybody is silent about what this person did. It's crazy," said Oliynykova, who has never played Shnaider on tour but has accused the Russian in the past of supporting President Vladimir Putin.[/p][p]"She also put likes on the publications of Russian propagandists."[/p]
