The Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Montreal Canadiens 1-0 on Friday night to force a Game 7 after a nail-biter of a game.

After a [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/guentzel-jake/Mq78JKxK/"]Jake Guentzel[/a] high-sticking penalty with 10 seconds to go, the Habs would have a power play with 1:50 carrying over into the second.[/p][p]After killing off the first power play of the game, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/tampa-bay-lightning/YVE3zk1c/"]Tampa[/a] was almost the first team to get on the scoreboard. [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/dobes-jakub/0W5FnU82/"]Jakub Dobes[/a] (MTL) headed into the third with 16 saves, while [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/vasilevski-andrei/pSoZfKJQ/"]Andrei Vasilevskiy[/a] put up 17, including a double split-save in what looked to be an easy goal for [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/demidov-ivan/pdts9jU5/"]Ivan Demidov[/a]. [/p][embed guid="9ee7b40f-8221-4ee5-9b34-abec789b8f72" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gtw69R6_AN0&pp=0gcJCd4KAYcqIYzv" social-type="youtube" /][p]After a Tampa Bay power play and both teams in a 4-on-4 situation, the game remained scoreless. With five minutes left to go, both teams also had exactly 25 shots on goal each. [/p][p]Tampa would have another golden opportunity after Demidov got a two-minute minor for goalie interference after trying to deke his way to the net, crashing into Vasilevskiy. [/p][embed guid="4b458bc4-ef54-47e0-8e50-8f3a36adf59b" url="https://x.com/BR_OpenIce/status/2050389223992152499?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]But despite having the puck in the offensive zone for almost the entire power play, putting up shot after shot, the Lightning couldn't come away with a goal, forcing the game to go to overtime.[/p][p]Dobes would come in the clutch for the Habs, as he went into overtime with a game-leading 28 saves...
