Marshall Munetsi snubbed as Zimbabwe unveil squad for Four Nations tournament

Despite his current superb form with Paris FC in French Ligue 1, midfielder Marshall Munetsi has again been omitted from the Warriors squad for the upcoming Four Nations tournament in Francistown, Botswana.

[p]The tournament will be staged at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium, where the [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/warriors/t2yHAoHt/"]Warriors[/a] are scheduled to be in action on March 28 and 31.[/p][p]The competition will offer [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/zimbabwe/APEVkV8h/"]Zimbabwe[/a] an important platform to continue building momentum, strengthen combinations within the squad and assess players in a competitive international setting.[/p][p]However, while naming the squad, coach Marian Marinica left out [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/munetsi-nyasha/2LonY10K/"]Munetsi[/a], who last featured for the Warriors late last year before missing the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.[/p][h2]Munetsi has scored three goals in three matches[/h2][p][b]The 29-year-old, who is currently on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, is enjoying a good campaign at Paris FC, having scored three goals in three consecutive matches.
