9.0[/p][p]The best-performing goalkeeper across every Premier League fixture over the weekend was undoubtedly Brighton's Verbruggen.[/p][p]The Dutchman made six saves, including from one big chance, to help his side earn their second clean sheet of the season and rise to fourth in the table.[/p][p]His 9.0 Flashscore rating was the joint-highest of any player - alongside a certain Seagulls teammate, who we will get on to later.[/p]
Defenders
[p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/bogle-jayden/xAdjsHZG/"]Jayden Bogle[/a] ([a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/leeds/tUxUbLR2/"]Leeds[/a]) - 8.2[/p][p]Tottenham are still waiting for their first Premier League goal of the season, but appear to have sorted themselves out defensively after another clean sheet in their 0-0 draw with Everton.[/p][p]Van Hecke was a huge contributor to that, but his standout statistics were all from his actions on the ball.[/p][p]The defender led the match for touches (127), accurate passes (103), progressive carries (34) and progressive passes (10).[/p][image alt="Van Hecke v Everton" id="5c58e374-4bab-443f-9018-66af860d531c" credit-line="Flashscore" guid="01fb20cb-19c9-41ef-83e3-855df189cd62" original-width="2160" original-height="2702" /][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/davis-leif/rRuHW6a0/"]Leif Davis[/a] ([a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/ipswich/thqhB2MB/"]Ipswich[/a]) -
