Australia's Hannah Green lifted the LPGA Tour's HSBC Women's World Championship for a second time - with her husband Jarryd Felton playing a decisive role on her bag - at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore on Sunday.

[p]It was only the second time that [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/felton-jarryd/p2jVCA6M/"]Felton[/a], also a professional golfer, had caddied for her this year, but it proved to be a perfect winning partnership, as the 29-year-old posted a winning total of 14-under-par 274 to clinch the championship in Singapore by one shot.[/p][p]"It was absolutely a team effort over the last two weeks, and it's very special to share my seventh win, which is also my favourite number, with him," she said.[/p][p]"My usual caddie is applying for a green card and couldn't leave the US, so it wasn't part of the plan for the season. Luckily, my husband was able to pick up the bag for me."[/p][embed guid="44098b47-4c2a-42b1-9289-efc9d9610031" url="https://x.com/LPGA/status/2028007470220919191?s=20" social-type="twitter" /][p]Green started the day tied for the lead with three-time major champion [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/lee-minjee/IBO0Nlaf/"]Minjee Lee[/a].[/p][p]She wasted no time in taking control by opening with a birdie before surging ahead with an eagle on the par-five eighth.[/p][p]She turned in 33 and added further birdies on the 11th and 13th holes. Green then bogeyed 14, but recovered swiftly with another birdie on 15.[/p][p]Despite a nervous finish where she dropped two more shots on 17 and 18, her three-under-par 69 was enough to pip American [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/kim-auston/SxhzwHUp/"]Auston Kim[/a] and give her a second HSBC Women's World Championship title, having also won in 2024.[/p][p]"I was feeling nervous and told Jarryd a couple of times that I wasn't comfortable. He reminded me to take a deep breath, have a snack or even sip some water," Green said.[/p][p]"I haven't played with this kind of adrenaline in a long time, and we handled it really well."[/p][p]Lee, meanwhile, closed with a 72 to finish tied for third with France’s [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/bouchard-pauline-roussin/C27hWAS3/"]Pauline Roussin-Bouchard[/a] and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/yin-angel/4pWv758o/"]Angel Yin[/a] of the United States.[/p]
