Monaco snatch late win over Lens to continue flying start to Ligue 1 season

[p]For a split second, the hosts thought they had made the breakthrough inside the opening 10 minutes when [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/abline-matthis/4pCFSl1P/"]Matthis Abline[/a]'s composed finish found the back of the net, but his effort was ruled out for offside to [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/lens/IBmris38/"]Lens[/a]' relief.[/p][p]While both sides generally cancelled each other out in the early stages of the match, the referee was instructed by the VAR officials to review his video monitor to decide if Les Sang et Or should be awarded a penalty for a handball from [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/sane-sadibou/O8reaWmD/"]Sadibou Sane[/a] inside the box.
