Nitish Kumar Reddy has ⁠been ruled out of India's Twenty20 international series ‌against Ireland and England due ‌to injury, the ‌country's cricket board (BCCI) said on ‌Tuesday.

[p]Suryansh Shedge has been ‌named as his replacement, with Reddy's absence leaving ‌[a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/india/fcOzl2uI/"]India[/a] short of a ⁠frontline ‌pace-bowling all-rounder for the series.[/p][p]Reddy ​reported discomfort in his left quadriceps following ​the third one-day international against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/afghanistan/fPvTErSo/"]Afghanistan[/a] on Saturday ⁠and ​has been advised to undergo a period of rehabilitation, the BCCI added.[/p][p]Shedge, 23, ‌comes in as a batting all-rounder and got the call-up after scoring 147 runs in five matches for India A in the recently concluded tri-series in Sri Lanka.[/p][p]India ‌face [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/ireland/GEmG3lXa/"]Ireland[/a] in ​two T20Is in Belfast on ‌June 26 and June 28 before travelling to [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/england/UJC5mtAU/"]England[/a] for a five-match series in July.[/p][embed guid="b2f3c97f-8f45-4cba-9029-8e4fbcede8d5" url="https://x.com/BCCI/status/2069333959671255104" social-type="twitter" /]
