The 139th Stockholm Derby between the two residents of 3Arena finished level, as Djurgarden and Hammarby played out a 1-1 draw that leaves both with two wins from their opening five Allsvenskan fixtures.

[p]Despite the familiar surroundings, only once in the previous 11 meetings had the away side secured victory, which was bad news for a [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/hammarby/SQsg3nME/"]Hammarby[/a] side that came into the derby after a disappointing home draw with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/halmstad/Mmsc26yL/"]Halmstad[/a], failing to build on an 8-1 thumping of [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/orgryte/CGT7Kq4j/"]Orgryte[/a].[/p][p]The omens were much better, therefore, for a [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/djurgarden/4Kh5hPE1/"]Djurgarden[/a] side out to end a two-game losing run, and after the sides came out to a raucous atmosphere, Blaranderna began well, as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/hegland-bo-asluv/t89jeOGq/"]Bo Hegland[/a] played a one-two with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/asund-patric/tpjQ3tD4/"]Patric Aslund[/a] before poking an effort straight at [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/hahn-warner/2qaDIBmp/"]Warner Hahn[/a]. [/p][embed guid="e84e6995-9436-4d3c-bc1d-65fdcc759b1b" url="https://x.com/hammarbyfotboll/status/2048371710177489351" social-type="twitter" /][p]Djurgarden kept the pressure on in the opening minutes and got the goal they merited in the ninth minute, as Hegland won possession in the Hammarby half, skipped away from a challenge and slotted the ball through to [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/finndell-hampus/vyUIbVIN/"]Hampus Findell[/a], who backheeled it perfectly into the path of [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/lien-kristian/p2ECOJmG/"]Kristian Lien[/a], and he guided it low past Hahn for his third of the season.[/p][p]The initial Hammarby response to going behind was modest - striker [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/abraham-paulos/0GtFKhek/"]Paulos Abraham[/a] was given the nod to start despite a recurring injury problem, and his lack of sharpness was evident when he produced a wayward effort from a promising position.[/p][p]The hosts were happy to sit back and catch Hammarby on the break, which almost came to fruition midway through the first half when a free Aslund cut in from the right and forced Hahn into a smart stop with his foot.[/p][p]But that heralded Bajen's best period of the half, as [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/besara-nahir/v3OyKegM/"]Nahir Besara[/a] went close with a couple of efforts from range, and after neat build-up between Abraham and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/madjed-montader/UTgEIbsn/"]Montader Madjed[/a], a 20-yard placed strike from [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/johansson-oscar/YXqFCzLf/"]Oscar Johansson[/a] gave [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/rinne-jacob/n1DnPp6s/"]Jacob Rinne[/a] a save to make in the Djurgarden goal.[/p][p]The closest the green & whites came was in the 32nd minute, when [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/lind-victor/QDJ0B41O/"]Victor Lind[/a] latched onto a ball over the top and struck the near post. Abraham was at the heart of the action in the final 10 minutes of the half, but sadly for Hammarby, it was only to incur the wrath of Djurgarden players and fans, as he clashed off the ball with [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/siltanen-matias/OdWqBPQ0/"]Matias Siltanen[/a], and then with Rinne as they both went for a cross.[/p][embed guid="2462de4f-bb51-46dd-9ed4-c6bd56ead9eb" url="https://x.com/DIF_Fotboll/status/2048375715846902231" social-type="twitter" /][p]No sooner had the second half kicked off were the players taken off the field owing to Djurgarden fans setting off pyrotechnics, but once the game resumed, Hammarby had the first real chance as Madjed pulled the ball back for Besara to hit from the edge of the area, and his shot went through the crowd but into Rinne's clutches.[/p][p]After that, the two rivals struggled to dominate proceedings, but as the hour mark approached, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/karlsson-johan/fmgTWG6i/"]Kalle Karlsson[/a]'s side were starting to threaten more, as only a crucial [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/tenho-miro/0dFit0TO/"]Miro Tenho[/a] block thwarted an Abraham chance inside the area, before Bajen grabbed the equaliser in the 61st minute.[/p][p]Besara took control in a central position, and unlocked the Djurgarden defence by playing a one-two with Johansson, before stabbing the ball past Rinne with the outside of his boot.[/p][p]Jani Honkavaara responded to his side conceding by making a double substitution, but the plan to look for Lien remained the same - he cut in from the left and saw his strike deflect wide. At the other end, Abraham spread the ball nicely to Madjed on the wing, but his first-time effort sailed over. [/p][embed guid="023222f3-8f46-4939-ad80-0b727e241fb5" url="https://x.com/hammarbyfotboll/status/2048401634288443510" social-type="twitter" /][p]In the final 10 minutes, and with his confidence brimming, Besara took on a 35-yard hit that flew just over, before Djurgarden were relieved to see the offside flag up against Abraham as the ball fell kindly to him in the box.[/p][p]Having come under mounting pressure, the Iron Stoves could have won it late on, but [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/stahl-adam/l6RvG20m/"]Adam Stahl[/a] couldn't make a clean connection with his header from a cross and the ball drifted wide, then in added time, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/hien-leon/OGnzcgVI/"]Leon Hien[/a] swept the ball past the post on a counter attack.[/p][p]But [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/djurgarden-4Kh5hPE1/hammarby-SQsg3nME/?mid=vwlycNSN"]there was to be no late winner[/a], meaning Djurgarden ended their two-match losing run and Hammarby have been held to back-to-back stalemates. A 30th draw in history between the sides means Hammarby maintain their three-win lead over Djurgarden in the 08 Derby overall.[/p][embed guid="c1a36d0e-ad2a-40d8-af52-ddad5268ea49" url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqukC97YfZE" social-type="youtube" /][p][a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/soccer/sweden/allsvenskan/"]Review the Stockholm derby on Flashscore.[/a][/p]
