Mikel Arteta says Arsenal have earned their place on Europe's biggest stage but must now seize the moment and make history. At the press conference ahead of the Champions League final against PSG, the Arsenal manager stressed his players' hunger for more success.

[p]The [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/arsenal/hA1Zm19f/"]Arsenal[/a] coach believes the preparation has been good. “We're focused, positive. We are here because we have the right to be here. Tomorrow on the field, we’re going to have to earn the right to lift the trophy," he said.[/p][p]Arsenal will be in almost full strength. Arteta confirmed both [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/timber-jurrien/hSaoLOM4/"]Jurrien Timber[/a] and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/madueke-chukwunonso/Ac57P9Pt/"]Noni Madueke[/a] are fit to play, and only [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/white-ben/pvGdJANj/"]Ben White[/a] is out of the final.[/p][p]Having guided Arsenal to the first league title in 22 years, he now has the chance to lead them to the first Champions League triumph, 20 years since their last try.[/p][p]"We have the opportunity to write a new chapter, we have to play with a lot of clarity and desire to win. Winning the Champions League would be something new for all of us. It’s tough to write new history at Arsenal, and that’s what we’re aiming for," Arteta said.[/p][image alt="Arsenal's recent form" id="9af444a9-fc82-4aea-903c-baaa419e1574" credit-line="Flashscore" guid="896ed34a-2df2-4e74-81a1-efd26ead37da" original-width="1200" original-height="1200" /][p]After finally breaking their bad luck with second places in the league, Arsenal could seemingly breathe freely. But Arteta believes the pressure is never off.[/p][p]"We have won a title, but we want to win more. There always has to be a platform to earn more. I want the players to be confident we can go and do it," he claimed.[/p][p]"They want more. After you lift the trophy, you want to reproduce that feeling as many times as possible."[/p][p]Arsenal were unsuccessful against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/psg/CjhkPw0k/"]PSG[/a] in last year's semi-final, but Arteta took some positives from those games.[/p][p]"When I watch the games back, I was very pleased with what I saw. We were close, unlucky not to go into that final. Tomorrow we’ll play a different game I’m sure," the Spaniard insisted. [/p][embed guid="8e03ca82-a30a-43bb-8b0f-6be5131bc058" url="https://x.com/Arsenal/status/2060398351074677078" social-type="twitter" /][p]"PSG and us both evolved in a different way. We took some learning and will have to apply it tomorrow."[/p][p]When mentioning the opposition, he couldn't overlook Luis Enrique who he's known since their playing days at Barcelona 25 years ago.[/p][p]"He’s always been a reference for me, since he was a player. In PSG, you can see his fingerprints, the identity, the mentality, the way the players behave. He’s been an inspiration, but tomorrow we will clash on the touchline," Arteta said with a smile.[/p]
[a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/arsenal-hA1Zm19f/psg-CjhkPw0k/?mid=EJZRaQ15"]Follow the Champions League Final with Flashscore![/a]
