Rafael Leao to wear No. 7 shirt against Denmark after Ronaldo's departure

[p]As usual, UEFA released the list of the 23 players registered on the match sheet for [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/portugal/WvJrjFVN/"]Portugal[/a]'s clash [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/game/soccer/denmark-0KUdxQVi/portugal-WvJrjFVN/?mid=Y5Bq2moK"]with Denmark[/a], in the third-round Group A4 fixture of the [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/soccer/europe/uefa-nations-league/"]Nations League[/a].[/p][p]The two absentees were already known. [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/chico-conceicao/n53v4sSd/"]Francisco Conceicao[/a] is recovering from injury, while [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/ronaldo-cristiano/WGOY4FSt/"]Cristiano Ronaldo[/a] left the national team camp.[/p][image alt="Winning probability" id="fe7324da-7f2e-455b-9899-22602c8966f2" credit-line="Flashscore" guid="9cac6a51-d8f8-404f-8107-ebc08052833e" original-width="3840" original-height="2160" /][p] [/p][p]That allowed [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/silva-fabio/YaEnqMoU/"]Fabio Silva[/a] to be included for the first time, while [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/fernandes-bruno/GYvAMDm2/"]Bruno Fernandes[/a] returns after missing the game against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/norway/8rP6JO0H/"]Norway[/a] through injury.[/p][p]However, the main talking point from the list is the shirt numbering. Usually wearing No. 17, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/leao-rafael/AqOPWN5s/"]Rafael Leao[/a] has inherited Cristiano Ronaldo's No. 7 shirt, with Fabio Silva taking his old number. [/p][p]The [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/galatasaray/riaqqurF/"]Galatasaray[/a] forward, it should be remembered, was not used by Jorge Jesus against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/wales/YcUP0Nqp/"]Wales[/a] and came on in the second half against Norway.[/p][infobox id="5a8fbd57-e97c-4bdc-9f6b-fb0fb254e893" /]
