[/p][p]He won the award ahead of [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/franculino/KKFRVszn/"]Franculino[/a], Gift Links, Tobias Bech, Patrick Pentz, Tonni Adamsen, [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/jorgensen-thomas/hWjX3KN6/"]Thomas Jorgensen,[/a] and [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/player/yirenkyi-caleb/INmgLCSF/"]Caleb Yirenkyi[/a], who were also nominated. [/p][p]The 23-year-old Simsir has scored nine goals during the season, while making 15 assists. [/p][p]If he gets another assist in Sunday's home game against [a href="https://www.flashscore.ca/team/brondby/67R5vKqt/"]Brondby IF[/a], Simsir will claim the record. [/p][p]Simsir is under contract with the Wolves until the summer of 2029, but has repeatedly stated that he will probably leave the club this summer. [/p][p]Simsir has played a total of 144 matches for FC Midtjylland, scoring 26 goals and providing 40 assists.[/p]
