New York Mets to call up speedster No. 2 prospect A.J. Ewing

After a rather struggling first full season in the minors in 2024, when he hit .233 with 10 home runs in 90 games, the Ohio native turned things around completely in 2025. [/p][p]Despite hitting fewer home runs (3), Ewing finished his 2025 season in the minors with a whopping 70 stolen bases and 68 walks, all while batting .315 with 55 RBI in 124 games. [/p][p]His 70 stolen bases ranked fifth-most in all of minor league baseball last season.
